First Aid Training

Recently, seven of our ecologists took part in a  two day outdoor first aid course with The Outdoor Training Company, designed to equip them with first aid skills to use when in remote environments. The course covered essential topics such as CPR, wound management, fracture stabilization and responding to environmental factors such as heat stroke. Practical scenarios on the second day allowed our ecologists to practice assessing and treating injuries in simulated settings, put their new skills into practice.

All our ecologists are first aid trained that so that they have the confidence and knowledge to help themselves and others while in the field.
